National Privacy Commission Portraits Project

The National Privacy Commission was created by virtue of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, but only began formal operations in March 2016, with the appointment of the country's first Privacy Commissioner and Deputy Privacy Commissioners.

When I first joined the Commission in October that year, the Public Information and Assistance Division had also only begun existing under the leadership of our Division Chief, Ms. Michelle Saquido. In November, we conducted an afternoon photoshoot at the Malacañang grounds for the official portraits of our senior leadership.

I don't consider myself a pro at photography, but I had tons of fun with this shoot and am happy with the results. Here are some of my photographs.
